NewHoP Skills for Work
The "NewHoP Skills for Work" series (formerly "Workability") was part-funded by the EU Interreg IIIA programme under its human resources development and skilling measure.
This is a series of learning resources designed to teach adults with learning
disabilities essential skills in the area of work and employability.
It comprises eight units/discs focusing on general work skills, applicable
to all jobs. The unit titles are as follows:
U1 Work, Jobs & Skills £175
U2 Getting a Job & Preparing for Work £100
U3 Being Effective in Work £200
U4 Communication £60
U5 Appropriate Work Behaviour £100
U6 Assertiveness, Respect & Rights £75
U7 Health & Safety at Work £75
U8 Personal Hygiene & Self-Presentation

The series also includes four units/discs that teach introductory skills in
the following vocational areas:
U9 Introduction to Horticulture £75
U10 Introduction to Catering £75
U11 Introduction to Working in an Office £75
U12 Introduction to Working in a Supermarket

Each title represents a standalone unit or disc which can be purchased separately
or you can avail of special savings buy buying several titles as part of a
bundle.

Use of content on these discs is subject to terms and conditions. These are
contained in an End User Licence Agreement (EULA).
