INTRODUCTION TO WORKING IN A SUPERMARKET
Many supermarkets and local shops provide opportunities for people with learning disabilities. This unit will prepare students for working in a retail environment providing them with essential knowledge, skills and abilities that will give them the edge when applying for such work. The student is introduced to vocabulary relating to this environment, learns about important health and safety guidelines, and finds out about the jobs that they might do.
