This unit provides students with an introduction to the world of work, explaining the concepts of work, compensation for work, how work changes your day and the people you meet in work. Students learn about 12 different work areas, finding out about the different jobs that one can do in each area. Finally, the concept of different working environments is introduced as well as the notion that a variety of skills/qualities are needed to do different jobs.
