This unit teaches students all about the responsibilities that their employer and they themselves have with respect to maintaining a safe & healthy work environment. It covers protective clothing, and signs & symbols that relate to health & safety. Students will learn about the risks, hazards & dangers they might encounter in the workplace. Finally,the concept of workplace stress is introduced & students will learn about how to deal with stress they might feel at work.
